Bitcoin.com Wallet adds native TRON support for TRX and USDT-TRC20
The self-custody wallet says users can hold, send, swap and buy TRX and USDT-TRC20 on iOS, Android and web without bridging assets.

Bitcoin.com says its self-custody Wallet app now supports the TRON network natively, allowing users to hold, send, swap and buy TRX and USDT-TRC20 from the mobile app. The company's Aug. 21 announcement says the integration is available on iOS, Android and the web, and removes the need to bridge assets or use a separate wallet for the supported TRON assets.
The change is a product-access update, not the launch of a new custody service. Bitcoin.com describes the wallet as non-custodial, so the integration leaves users responsible for their recovery credentials and for selecting the correct network when sending assets. A transfer to an incompatible address or network can be irreversible.
The announcement is the evidence for the launch claim. Bitcoin.com's public support page checked for this report was last updated in August 2025 and does not yet list native TRON support. That older page does not disprove the new announcement, but an in-app or updated support listing would independently confirm that the rollout is visible to users.
What the announcement does and does not establish
The release says the integration gives the wallet's claimed millions of users direct access to TRX and USDT-TRC20, and quotes TRON founder Justin Sun on the network's stablecoin activity. Those are company and partner claims, not an independent measure of active wallet users, transaction volume or the quality of the integration.
The practical test is whether the updated app and web wallet let users receive, send and swap the supported assets without routing through another network. Until the wallet's own support materials and user-facing interface reflect the change, the safest description is that Bitcoin.com has announced native TRON support and says the rollout is live.
