BitGo has launched Link, a product that lets institutional customers view and move digital assets held in BitGo custody and at external exchanges from one interface, The Block reported. The first connections include Coinbase, Kraken and Crypto.com.
The product is aimed at treasury teams that need to rebalance across venues, meet margin or liquidity needs, or keep track of sub-accounts without switching between exchange systems. BitGo says transfers pass through its Policy Engine, which lets clients set additional permissions and tracks settlement against exchange records.
The custody boundary remains
BitGo CEO Mike Belshe described Link as making BitGo a command center for institutional treasury and trading. The product does not turn external exchange balances into BitGo-custodied assets; it connects workflows across venues while leaving the underlying custody relationships in place.
That distinction matters for institutions managing counterparty, settlement and permission risk. BitGo said it plans to add more exchanges and treasury functions.
