U.S. ether ETFs extend nine-day inflow streak with $225.8 million Thursday haul

The nine sessions beginning Aug. 17 produced about $1.42 billion in cumulative net inflows. The total is a flow measure for the funds, not a direct measure of ether's price outlook or proof that every investor intends to hold indefinitely.

BlackRock's fund led the run

BlackRock's ETHA recorded $130.2 million of the Aug. 27 inflow, followed by Fidelity's FETH at $56.2 million and BlackRock's staked ETHB at $20.7 million. Farside's table shows ETHA bringing in $1.02 billion across the nine sessions, or roughly 72% of the category's total.

The same table shows a positive total on every session since Aug. 17. Aug. 14 was flat, and the last net outflow in the series was Aug. 11, which makes the streak unusually persistent even though daily totals varied sharply.

A strong flow signal with limits

Ether ETF demand has moved closer to bitcoin's on the latest session: U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $242.3 million of net inflows on the same date, based on Farside's bitcoin table. The near-match shows institutional flows were broad that day, but it does not establish that ether demand will continue at the same pace.

The practical checkpoint is whether the inflows persist and how they interact with ether's spot volume, price and fund-creation activity. A nine-day run can indicate sustained buying through the listed products, while still leaving the source of the capital and its sensitivity to broader risk appetite uncertain.
