The9 says the9bit has signed 41 Southeast Asian brand partners
The company is turning its AI gaming platform into an offline-to-online marketing network, with paid campaigns already running in Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
The9 is taking its AI gaming platform into physical retail. In an Aug. 6 company release, the Nasdaq-listed company said the9bit had signed 41 brand partners across Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, with another 127 businesses in its regional pipeline.
The announcement describes the initiative as an offline-to-online network: brands run campaigns or events in physical venues, while the9bit supplies an AI marketing platform and a digital entertainment layer. The company named Tealive, a beverage chain with more than 800 outlets in Malaysia, and Highlands Coffee, which it described as operating more than 850 outlets in Vietnam. The release also named smaller partners in Kuala Lumpur and Yogyakarta.
A marketing service around a token economy
The9 says Flaky and TwoTone have already paid for campaigns. It says Flaky uses the9bit's AI marketing platform and that a joint event with TwoTone lifted ticket sales while generating revenue for the9bit. In Indonesia, the company says campaign events were followed by higher dine-in traffic over two consecutive days and stronger brand recognition among university communities.
Those claims point to a business model that reaches beyond game purchases. The venue pays for attention, the platform turns the campaign into an activation and the token economy supplies an incentive layer for users and creators. The commercial test is whether that cycle produces repeat contracts and measurable customer acquisition, rather than one-off event traffic.
The measurement gap is now the story
The9 said the9bit averaged about 120,000 daily active users across the region during the activation period. Its company overview separately describes more than 8 million registered users and over 70,000 user-generated games since the platform launched in August 2025. The commercial picture still needs campaign conversion rates, contract values, repeat-booking rates and revenue from the 41 signed partners.
The release also links the partnership push to a roughly 35% rise in the $9BIT token, from about $0.037 to $0.050 since late May. That is a market-price observation, not evidence that the campaigns created lasting token demand. The9 says it plans to take the pipeline into the United States and Europe.
